The Woodsdale Road Bridge 2 over the Nutting Garden Rivulet project involved the replacement of an existing single lane timber and concrete bridge that was in poor condition with a concrete bridge. The  Bridge replacement was one of 15 bridge replacements project managed by Sugden & Gee for the Southern Midlands Council. All of these timber bridges had reached the end of the economic life and required replacement to provide safe road river crossings across the municipality.

Sugden & Gee project managed the bridge replacement including  investigations and site survey, preparation of tender documents, tender assessment and contract administration. The bridge was required to provide flood protection and have an economic life of 100 years. The design and construct contract was successfully delivered by TasSpan Pty. Ltd.
