Sugden & Gee are pleased to welcome senior engineer and project manager, Will Bacon, to our team of professionals. After working in the oil and gas industry in Texas, USA, since 2008, Will and his family decided it was time to move back to Tassie and seek work in a cleaner and greener industry. Will has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) from UTas and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. Will says he “joined Sugden & Gee to gain the opportunity to work on interesting projects in Tasmania and contribute to this wonderful state. The opportunity to transfer my skills from oil and gas and be part of a dedicated and professional small team is both exciting and fulfilling.“
Will’s key skills include strategic analysis of complex problems and scenarios to unearth key objectives and opportunities, leadership in the efficient adoption of new methods, technologies and solutions, team leadership and change management, project management and the advanced applications of engineering fundamentals. He enjoys working with clients and teams in delivering practical solutions founded on developing deep understanding and insight of client problems.
