Sugden & Gee congratulate our engineer and graduate planner, Andrew Holmes, for taking on the important leadership role of Convenor of the Tasmanian Young Planners (TYP). In a statement on the TYP web site, Andrew states that “personally, I believe that 2021 is the year of communication. It is important for all young planners, and planners in general to be in a comfortable position to speak up when they don’t feel something is right, when they don’t feel like they are being heard or are unsure on where to go or what to do.” Andrew plans to continue the “good work in of the TYP in advocating, organising and managing public realm events and activities connecting with students from our education providers; and hosting our successful Planners in the Pub events which create networking activities within the profession.”
